The Washington Times - from our capitol! The writer & photographer came and spent a couple days with us....it's always a pleasure to see our community growing.

Becca will be speaking at the SuperDome on July 24, 2009 to thousands of teenagers this summer as part of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) Youth Gathering in New Orleans. Read accompanying ELCA press release for further info.

One of our homes had to be torn down a few months ago and we are trying to raise the funds to rebuild. Local Nashville story about this need.

On Monday, June 1st we will honor five women who have completed our two-year program. The event will be held at St. Augustine's Chapel (200 24th St., Nashville - click on title above for mapquest link) on Vanderbilt's campus at 11:30am. A potluck lunch will be supplied by volunteers and we will wrap up by 1:00. The service is always uplifting and inspirational and will also involve a clean-time recognition for everyone attending.
